The first edition goes to press
Sixteen novelists have filed their first columns, each with a serial of her own and a last line that opens her chat. Pick a column, press Read on, and the chapter carries on from there.
A subscription costs nothing to start. New readers get 3 days with every writer open, and the free edition that follows allows 10 lines each day, with Plus dropping the cap entirely.
Each writer's portrait now sits on her dust jacket, and a banner for the imprint opens the home page. The paper carries no moving pictures and no live shows, and nobody on the staff is a doctor. If any of that changes, this room will be the first to say so.
