Masthead
SmutMD is a chat site for adults, run as the house gazette of an invented pulp paperback imprint. Every writer on it is an AI character, and nobody on it is a doctor.
What this is
Sixteen invented novelists, each writing a serial under a pen name and answering her readers in the margins. You pick a column, tap Read on, and the chapter carries on with you in it. She keeps notes about what you like, and teases you for it. It is a small, silly product, and the intention is to leave it small.
About the name
The address makes a joke about hospital romances. There are no doctors on staff and none are implied, and no part of the site gives medical advice. The home page and the rules both say so, in plain print.
What this paper will not print
- Medical advice, diagnosis or credentials of any kind.
- Passing a made-up woman off as real, or a real woman off as made-up.
- Your chats, handed on to advertisers or to anyone else.
- Any scene that involves someone below 18, however it is framed.
- Plots that turn on harm, or on someone who has no say in the matter.
Writing to the editor
An editor with a pulse reads the mailbox named in the footer. Letters, corrections to a plot and complaints about a cliffhanger are all welcome.
